Jackson Pollock Shoes

October 7, 2010

I’m not sure it’s actually possible to commission a child to make art for you…but that’s kind of what I did the other day.  I found these old clog heels at a garage sale last week for a dollar.  The Jeffrey Campbell ones I bought a month ago broke the first time I tried them on and pulled the strap behind my ankle.  I sadly returned them and didn’t order another pair.  After not-so-careful consideration, I realized I didn’t love the color of these and wanted to change them somehow.  Enter 2 restless children.  One hour and a big mess later, I had these!  Not bad for a 2 and 3 year old huh?  I think that with my boyfriend jeans, a cableknit sweater and a heather pair of socks…these could actually be quite fun.  I just noticed when I took these pictures that there is a sequin stuck to one of them… nice touch 🙂
