Puerto Vallarta

September 20, 2010

Here are some shots I took on my vacation today.  I took a cab to a local market area to check out the goods.  I love seeing the merchants, the food and all of the activity.  This is where you see the real flavor in a new locale.  I enjoyed haggling with all of the guys who were desperate to sell me anything.  They told me “this is real muchacha, no mickey mouse for you!”  I got the biggest laugh from that line which was given to me by several different vendors.  It was a fun adventure and I got lots of great things which I will post soon.

Brittin: Love you!! You are craving such a wonderful… way (didn’t know what word to use!) I love your blog, your husband and children are so very CUTE. I am so glad you are on a trip with just the two of you. The market looks wonderful. Engaging with the “locals” is what it is all about when traveling. Loving the flavors of all that is around you! Travel is the best! The photos are very artist and fun.
